Matthew has been playing ultimate as part of a high school intramural league in 1993. In 1995, he was Discraft's lone authorized sales agent in Canada, responsible for placement of discs into major operations such as National Sports & Sporting Life, and as part of summer promotional efforts by PepsiCo. Matthew Played his first TUC game in 1995, and has been a regular league player since. More recently, Matthew has served as a convener of multiple TUC leagues, acted on TUC's Strategic Advisory Panel, was a committee member for the TUC 30th anniversary dinner and inaugural Hall of Fame Gala, and is a voting member of the current TUC Hall of Fame Committee.
